Petrichor: a physical sound generator

Petrichor is a synthesizer with no oscillators and no samples. Every sound it makes is a small piece of physics running in real time: a bubble rising through water, a bird’s syrinx flexing, air resonating in a cavity, an object struck and left to ring. Nothing loops, and no two hits are ever quite identical.
